Why Perth homes need a local approach

What your quote should tell you
A single number on one page is impossible to compare. A useful quote states four things.
Coats. Two over sound paint is standard. Three over bare plaster, patching or a light colour over dark.
Preparation. If crack repair, sanding and priming are not listed, they are not priced.
Products, by name. Coastal walls, wet areas and roofs each need a different system.
Exclusions. Roof coating, structural repair, rendering and rot are separate jobs.
Registration matters in WA
WA requires painters to be registered with the Building Services Board for work above a set value. We are a registered painting contractor, WA painter licence 7956. Ask any painter for their number before you accept a quote.

Public liability at minimum, plus workers compensation for anyone they bring onto your property. Ask for certificates of currency, not a verbal promise. Each is one page naming the insurer and the expiry date. For strata painting, managing agents usually want them on file before work is awarded.
