The job
An exterior repaint of a strip of shops in Kardinya, plus a new painted floor inside one of the tenancies. Outside, the work covered the verandah posts, beams and soffits, the fascias along the roofline, and the roller doors.
Access and protection
The roofline and fascias were reached from a scissor lift and ladders. Drop sheets went down along the paved walkway under the verandah, so the paving stayed clean while the posts and beams were painted.
The floor
Inside the tenancy, the concrete floor was painted in two tones of grey. The edges were cut in by brush against a taped border first, then the main areas were rolled out.
