We work across the Perth metropolitan area from our base in Canning Vale, six days a week. Exposure varies enormously across the city, and so does the right coating.
A beachfront wall in Cottesloe and an inland wall in Canning Vale are not the same painting job. The coastal property takes continuous salt deposit that must be washed off completely before any coating goes on, or the new finish lifts within a season. The inland property mostly fights UV.
Building stock varies just as much. The western suburbs hold Federation and character housing with weatherboard and heritage timber. The northern and south-eastern corridors are predominantly rendered brick from the 1990s onward. Fremantle brings limestone, which needs breathable systems.
We specify to the property in front of us rather than applying one system across the city.
