New plasterboard and new render are thirsty, and they do not behave like a surface that has been coated before. Skipping the sealer coat is the most common shortcut on a new build, and it shows up as patchy sheen across jointed areas within weeks of handover.
We apply the full system: sealer on new substrates, undercoat, then topcoats, with trim finished in an enamel appropriate to the specification. Timing is coordinated with the builder so we are not painting over surfaces other trades still have to work on.
Handover inspections are detailed. We do a full walk-through and touch-up pass before calling the job complete, so the defect list does not come back to you.
